Tom my brother in law got his thumb smashed off at work a few days ago. He is fine, but they were not able to re attach it. My husbands family has a thing with thumbs. Preston had his thumb almost blown off while he was in Iraq the first time, but they were able to save it. He has limited mobility in it. Preston's dad lost his thumb from the knuckle up. Honestly though I have heard so many different stories about how it happened, that I don't remember the real story.........hmmm I will have to ask again. Here is a pic of Tom's thumb.Yuck! Shocker. I stared at that for far too long out of the sheer inability to scroll down further! That's horrible.
OH MY GOSH! I thought that was photoshopped somehow- gross!!! Poor guy- I hope he can still use his hands ok!
