Okay sorry, but I am so tired of soccer. This week alone we have 8 games to go to, and I only put two of the boys in. Jake and Colten are playing. The weather has been bad so often, that they decided to make up all the games in one week. Now multiply that times two! Are you kidding me? Plus Derek is playing on the school golf team. Absolutely loves it. Swears he is going to kick Preston's but at golf when he comes home. Pres is excited about that. Here are a few pics of Jake's game. He is funny. When the coach tells him a position to play, he doesn't kick the ball unless it comes right to him. He thinks he has to stay right where the coach put him. He has a great, very patient Colonel coaching his team. They are called Thunder. They picked their own names. Colten's team is called Orange Dragons. My camera was dead when we got to Colten's game, so I will add more pictures later. P.S. You can easily find Jake, he is the only one with glasses, and jeans on. Kick me now Becky! I ordered the soccer shorts. They were all out at the store. Jake hasn't mentioned it once. Just loves to play!

I need to put my kids into some sort of "function" or group thing, but it's so annoying. I hate the imposed schedule and, more often then not, I end up making them go to their own activities (they'd rather just play or hang out). The fact that we're moving again comes into play as well. I don't want to get too involved since we won't be here long.
Justin is OBSESSED w/soccer. Can't wait until Owen's old enough. I'm excited too but I might take that back when we're in the thick of it. That PB table/stools is SO cute. Did you order the C&B hutch?
That looks so fun! does colten enjoy it? jake is so goofy! get that boy some matching pants! :P
i really think the sports thingis important. it helps a kid learn what his body can do - it teaches him to push himself - and it gives him much needed exercise. and it gives the parent an opportunity to show appreciation for each child's talents/abilities/willingness to play, etc. a great opportunity to give praise. and to socialize.
