Okay so if you know Dad you know he had a private stash of safety pins at all times. He wore them on the bottom of his button down shirts. Chandler may have a different memory of those, but that is a different story. Anyways.....Derek has started putting safety pins on his church shirts, and it just made me happy. It makes me happy that he remembers and thinks about Papa Bill. Anyways. Just thought I would share that with yall.

oh dad and his safety pins. yes, chandler has a different memory of safety pins . . . he had great respect for dad especially when he had an open safety pin in his hand. i use to ask dad if he wanted me to sew another button on his shirt . . . but no, he liked his safety pin!
