Taylor was born at the same time as Colten. They were actually both in the hospital at the same time. His mother Melinda is one of my dearest friends from high school in Kanab, Utah. We will miss you Taylor.I can't wait to meet up with Taylor in the next life and see what an amazing man he is. I lost touch with Melinda for a while, so I just found out that he passed away almost a year ago. I just wanted to share his beautiful obituary.
Taylor Scott Varela passed away in his parent's arms. Taylor blessed his family with joy beyond measure. Born January 27, 1996, he began his life with strength, overcoming many obstacles. Though his body was small, his spirit grew to extreme stature. Taylor found simple joys in his life, looking beyond his pains. He enjoyed music, watching basketball, riding his bike, taking walks and snuggling. Taylor lived life until his body could live no more. Remembering and loving him forever are his parents Melinda and Jeremy Varela, siblings Brayden, and Jenna Varela. We thank all who cared for and loved Taylor: nurses, doctors and friends. Funeral services were held June 13th, 2006 at 11am @ Lindquist's Mortuary in Roy, Utah. Condolences to the family may be sent to Irm@lindquistmortuary.com

Another one that's so sad! Only 10 years old. I couldn't even handle that. He must have some strong parents.
Oh sweet sweet little Taylor. You will be missed. What a special sweet little boy.
you know, it makes you smile to think that taylor is now not confined by a broken body - though he enjoyed life here anyway . . .just think . . . how free he must feel!
