I have a few dresses that are a tiny bit too short. Not really, but I would feel more comfortable if they were a few inches longer. So I was thinking instead of adding to each individual dress some tulle underneath. What if I just added tulle to a half slip, that I could wear under any dress. I looked all over the internet and I am having a hard time finding one. Plus I want it in black. So I happened to mention it to my neighbor, and guess what! Come to find out she is EXTREMELY talented, and creative. She said she sewed up her own Halloween costume last year. Then she showed me a formal that she made for herself that is beautiful, and it is reversible. It sounds strange, but what an awesome thing for a military wife, that constantly has to have formals at the last moment for military stuff. It is really beautiful. She even offered to help me learn how to sew. I just might take her up on it. I have always wanted to learn how to sew. I have so many ideas in my head, and would love to be able to actually make them!

Take her up on that offer! That would be great. I'm always making up the wrong ways to get things done. It would be fabulous to know the correct way to do it!
