Today I watched a little 2 yr old girl. She is so cute. She is feisty and has blonde hair and big brown eyes. She fits right in with the boys. They adore her. I saw her in church a few weeks ago and told the grandmother how cute we thought she was. Well on Sunday the grandmother asked me if I would be interested in watching her. I was worried I would feel overwhelmed, but she blends right in. We are giving it a two week trial run, but so far so good. Today I also showed the boys how to install the air filter on the van. Along with that I showed the little boys what the difference between a flat head screw driver and a phillips screwdriver. (I also ordered my very own set of pink tools, in it's own little case! I find that it is VERY effective to order things in pink. Preston and the boys refuse to use anything that is pink. That way I always know where my things will be!)
For Family Home Evening we learned about the blessings, and promises that come from family scripture study, Family Home Evening and family prayer. (Got the tool set at target for $19.99. read the reviews and it was pretty well liked. )

good strategy! plus they are super cute! :)
Hey! I've been looking for one of those sets, but they are always so expensive. Where did you find that and how much was it?
i love tools. i think because i grew up playing with my dad's tools. the crescent wrench was one of my favorites. and also the wooden foldout measuring thing. tim and i always broke those - you would think we wouldn't be allowed to play with them. maybe we hid. but pink tools? i would rather have red - but then that's not forbidding to the male species.
