I think my mom did a good job of this...

I read this in the article about the power of hymns in church on Sunday. It was our lesson for relief society. I think my mom did an excellent job of always having uplifting music in the house and car for us kids. Probably a lot better than my music by Fergie, or The Killers, or Afghan Whigs!

Good job mom. As I raise my boys, every day I think about you & dad raising seven kids. All the sacrifices yall probably made, the time that was never your own. Thank you for giving me such a big family that I love. I can't imagine life without any of them. When I want to pull my hair out because the boys are non-stop sometimes....I like to stop and think...."what are you whining about mom had 3 more, and one of them was Ned!" Just teasing you Ned. Here is a memory that makes me giggle like a little kid every time I think about it. We all flew in to see Dad in hospital in September. Imagine all of us, every single one of the famous "Opfel 7", and Becky (age 25), and Ned (age 31) are fighting over who gets to sit in the one chair. Pretty dang hilarious to me. Me and Daniel were cracking up watching them. I think they will still do that when we are 80. But hey if that is how they bond, more power to yall! They talk on the phone to each other more than most. Love yall!

HEY! I WAS EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT AND THE HUMIDITY DOWN THERE WAS HORRIBLE! Ned was TOTALLY bugging me and doing it intentionally! GRRR!

What have we been up to?
