Mom this picture is sad, but it also shows a little man showing extreme courage. I didn't put it on here to make you cry. I put it on here because it reminds me how it could be worse. I miss Preston every second of every day, but he is coming home soon. I like to remind myself that some of the dads are not coming home. I pray for the children whose dad's are not coming home. The wives that have to explain this to their children. I remember talking with friends about the deployment, how it was only "do-able" because we knew it was temporary. Well two weeks later the friend that I was discussing this temporary situation with...she lost her husband. It became a permanent thing for her and her daughter. I don't want to ever forget what she has gone through and sacrificed for the rest of us. She is a strong woman, and continues to amaze me to this day. That is what this picture means to me....
