Jake requested Star Wars, light saber cake. It started out good, and then I could not get the icing to turn red, it went pink, then I added black and it went purple, so we settled for that! Anything but pink, right? I even used Wilton's cake colors. (which I had never even knew existed !) Derek was in charge of the decorating, so they were very low and crazy! He got a new bike for his birthday, but got it two weeks early. He got all star wars stuff at the actual party!

Yes! Evidence that Jake actually got a party! Tho' he said there weren't very many people there. . . i told him all he really needed was his brothers! That's the way we usually did it when you kids were little. i know it's cheating a bit. Jacob, Your present from Grandma Jeanie is also a bit late . . . but coming soon.
Too fun! I didn't know Star Wars was his thing. You have to share this stuff with the out of towners so we can look in the know when we send gifts or cards or chat on the phone randomly...
And Becky and G.Jeanie...SLACKERS! He already got mine...bet it's cooler than yours...
