I am not sure what started this, but at first I would say first person in bed gets to pick what we do for Family Home Evening dessert or what we have for dinner tomorrow night because they would always drag slowly to bed. Getting a drink of water, or going to the bathroom, or mom can you sign this thing for school. I had to change that up a bit because the boys would run full blast up the stairs pushing and shoving, which does get kind of scary! So I changed it to...whoever falls asleep first! It works like a charm. I told them tonight, whoever falls asleep first gets to choose a new ice cream topping for me to buy. At first there is A LOT of fake sleeping...and Travis is KING of fake sleeping. The kid can definitely fool me. He has fake moving around, and moaning, and just the normal sleep stuff. The kid is a con man in the making. Colten and Jake's fake sleeping is a little too obvious, Colten fake snores so loud I can hear him down stairs. Jake just flat out yells from upstairs....I fell asleep first! What the heck dude you aren't asleep you are yelling at me! SERIOUSLY, I remember when I thought my parents weren't all that smart, but come on!

I LOVE that game. Maybe I'll try it. But then I'm such a wimp. I've only got the two so whenever I pit them against each other like that it just seems cruel to actually let the one "pick" something special and then tell the only other one, "Sorry! You lost, maybe next time."
That is so funny. Interesting to see how each kid responds so differently.
That's awesome. I was laughing so hard. I can't fall asleep when I try to, I have to tell myself not to fall asleep then I will. But Travis is the funniest... smart little fella!
