Are we having fun yet?
I absolutely adore the fact that we have seven children in our family. I am the oldest. I have always, okay almost always loved that fact. (my dad always had this rule growing up that the oldest was always wrong...when there was an argument or fight. So basically I was ALWAYS wrong! I have to admit that I have adopted dad's rule for my family of boys! ) I love when all my brothers and sisters get together and it is mass chaos with all our kids. I have to admit though...I want the same thing for my children. I want the fun, crazy, loud, mass chaos for my children. I want to have a full house when I am old...of kids, and grand kids, and just everyone. It does take me a while to adjust, since it only happens once a year for me, but I love every second of it. I love that there is always some type of drama, but I also know that any one of my brothers and sisters would do absolutely anything for me. That is what it is all about. We are there for each other, even though we get on each others' nerves sometimes...we love each other. Kind of like in high school, I could pick on my brother Ned, and trash talk about him, but no one else was allowed or I was severely upset. And ask anyone...I was known to have quite the temper in high school. SORRY Shelly ! Anyways. I just want my brothers and sisters to know that I think they are awesome and I love spending time with them. :)
