Chris and Whitney got married !!!
I flew out to Chris' wedding in Salt Lake. I had a blast seeing everyone. I SEVERELY enjoyed being alone. Wow I forgot what it was like, how relaxing. It didn't matter that my flight out to Utah was delayed in Kansas City, as well as Denver, so I didn't get to eat any dinner and I didn't arrive till 2am, so the first night I only had 4 hours of sleep. I was fine. Better than fine, I had a blast. My AMAZING girlfriend watched all four boys and I flew out there. I got a rental car (with awesome loud speakers!) and a hotel, and it was heaven! I remember after the reception that night telling everyone goodbye, and then looking around not knowing what to do, feeling lost. Then I realized, I don't have to gather any children, I don't have to look for any stuff they left behind. I can just walk to my car and leave. Kind of like a man would! hahahaha just teasing ya, but seriously not. Maybe that doesn't make sense to you, but it totally does to me. It was so strange. Anyways, and then instead of going straight home I at the last minute decided to drive into downtown Salt Lake and take a look around. It was a really fun, relaxing, break. Wow! I came home and realized what tense mother I have been, and I promise to remember this for next time boys...I promise....that I need to take more of those little 3 day breaks, so that I can be a better mom. DEAL? I may need a reminder though. :) I got to see some friends I haven't seen in years. It was a great trip. I almost missed my flight. Sundance thing was going on in Utah so it was wild crazy busy. I parked my rental car in the middle of the street, and gave the guy my contract, the keys, and $10 and said I am sorry but I gotta go catch my flight. Then I ran and tried to check my suitcase and the guy was gonna let me slip under the radar, but the mean girl next to him told him that he had to tag my suitcase as late check. That means that your baggage may not make the same flight you are on, but they will put it on the next one out...which sucks because I was already on the last flight out for the night, so it wouldn't come in till the next day, and I didn't want to hang out all night waiting for my luggage! I also had to pay the overlimit fee on my suitcase $25. Then I ran all the way to the gate and I made it only 4 minutes late. Wow. I learned something very valuable though. Southwest airlines will let you go standby on the next flight out as long as it is within two hours, with NO UPGRADE charge! How awesome is that? I worked for Southwest airlines for a while about ten years ago, but I never knew that. I once missed my flight by a couple of minutes with Delta, and I just started bawling about how I missed my husband and he has been gone for three weeks for military training and then the lady didn't know what to do with me so she finally just told me to run down to a different gate and she would call ahead and get me on that flight, but I would have to carry on my luggage. I can totally do that, and they didn't even charge me. I was so happy! Okay well that's it for tonight. I have kleigh tonight. She is so sweet. She is all excited cause her dad and Preston are coming home soon. Her dad just for a two week visit, and Pres for good. So she keeps telling everyone...my two dads are coming home and then she does a little dance. Good night all! Oh and Sara my yoga class was freaking amazing. I was so relaxed after that class I didn't realize that I hold my breath when I am doing anything that stresses me out, or when I concentrate...and that causes my muscles to tense up. The instructor kept coming up behind me and pushing my shoulders down. It was a great class. I love the breathing exercises. :)

I've never done yoga...I should try it. I've heard loads of good stuff about it.
Katy - I loved this post! I was TOTALLY relating because I just had a trip where all I had to worry about was me, myself and I and at first I just didn't know what to do with myself - but that lasted all of 3 minutes! I was laughing so hard at the "kinda like a man, just kidding, not really" comment. F U N N Y. and so true.
That's so great that you liked yoga! It really does a body (AND A MIND/SOUL) good! no?
Can't wait for you to have your man back. That will be so sweet.
yoga rocks. i did yoga and water aerobics for several months . . . and i definitely could tell the difference in my strength. wish i could get myself going again on that.
