Okay so here is Travis. He has had these little bumps on his chest for probably a year. I have showed them to many different doctors and they didn't seem concerned. That is until about two days ago when they started multiplying and growing larger. Then yesterday one of them was huge and swollen and hard!It is bruised all around the big hard part. Very strange. It is always comforting when the docs all look at something and have NO IDEA! I do appreciate that they admit that, and don't just make up something. I guess ? Travis was crying and crying that he didn't even want his shirt to touch it. He had to either lay down or stand because he didn't want the skin to move. He even said that it hurt for air to go in and out of his stomach. So I decided I better take him in to the ER. We got to the ER at 10pm on a Friday night.......on a military base......need I say more? It was like a live soap opera...quite entertaining. Well the doc first thought it was chicken pox and I argued and told him absolutely not. Then one doc thought that it was cellulitis, and they can't seem to figure it out. So they put in an IV and Travis got nervous at the last minute and tried to move and the needle went through the vein and then back up through the skin. So we had to start over on the other arm. Then they gave him Rocefin? I am sure that isn't spelled correctly. Well then they also gave him an antibiotic to take every four hours, and they want us to come back in Sunday night. It seemed to grow in size even the two hours we were in the waiting room. The doc drew on it with his pen, and said this is the size now....and then drew another circle and said if it goes outside of this circle bring him back in immediately because it is growing too fast. Well Travis is feeling better, but I can tell it still bothers him because he is walking funny still. Trying not to stretch out the skin. Here are the pictures....kind of gross, but Travis is always proud of his scars, and wounds, and wanted to show dad. We didn't end up leaving the ER till 430am, and then when I got home I had to load the dishwasher cause I just couldn't stand it. Then Jake woke up, so I just grabbed a blanket and slept on the couch while the kids watched a movie. Now I am so wishing I was in bed, but Derek is out at a church youth activity and I am waiting for him to get home. He was supposed to be home at nine pm, and it is 1130 pm. Trying not to be grumpy, but at least I know he is with good friends of mine. Enjoy Travis' gross pics! :)

Kitty's got relly big almost like a boil before hers went away. so maybe they are on thier way out. its fun to see your blog. it looks like you guys are doing well. love debi
I wondered about that! I am thinking that is it too! Is this the long lost debi from high school? I have missed ya!you will never guess who i ran into the last time i was in mesa! Ryan Rogers and Derek Kennedy! They were hilarious. Derek thinks that I named my kid after him! I told him sure!
Oh my goodness Katy- did they get this figured out? (I've been a lazy blog reader lately!) He is so cute though. You are beautiful, and amazing, and I hope your man gets home safely soon!
