Get the HELL out of DODGE....

Okay so yes we went to Dodge City a couple of weekends ago. I love to last minute just pack up our bags and surpise the kids when they get home from school...just load them up in the van and not tell them where we are going! We get on the internet and find something in the area that we want to see, or visit... of course there must be a LaQuinta there, so we can earn our free nights!:) So I got a little confused and was thinking Dodge City was part of Wizard of Oz. It is sooooooo not! It is all COWBOY! I loved it! All about Doc Holliday and people like that! We got all decked out in western wear and had our pictures taken! It was such a blast. Enjoy! This is our first family photo taken since I think Derek was 6 weeks old! Oh and yes we do have a little extra one in there! Wish she was ours...K'leigh Mae. She is a sweetheart. She is the little girl that we watch everyday. We like to pretend that she is ours! :)

What a great way to go on vacation then you won't have all the kids buggin' for how many days, when are we leaving again...etc. :)

LOVE the pics! So cool! I am such a sucker for the Old Western pics. :)

there you are katy. that is such a funny picture - yep, jake is trying to look tough like the other boys - even travis looks like a real rustler. you, katy, on the other hand, have a sly smile on our face - and the little girl does look like a doll . . . preston looks like he might shoot the photographer any minute.

What have we been up to?
