Seriously we watched the first couple of loads run through it, just like I do when I am doing laundry at your house Ginger. :)
P.S. I was too cheap to buy the dryer, so I still have my ugly white dryer that is six years old, but hey it is handling the massively large loads from the new washer just fine. Thank goodness!

just get the dryer. just do it. don't you have to have matching dryer and washer? i think so.
