Okay so we have been in below freezing temps all day long. We ate an MRE for lunch, and only had 9 minutes to do it. We rode in an armored HUMVEE, with all the gear attached to us that the guys do. We rigged up in parachute gear, and learned how to jump out of a plane, as well as how to land. We learned about CAV history. We did all this while it was snowing and freezing cold! We were supposed to wear our husbands' uniform....I "pinked" mine out a bit..... we had a blast and earned our yellow garters! :) We are officially CAV now. More pictures to come......Here are pictures of my uniform :) My nose & toes are still frozen~ Yes we are doing the whole Gary vs. Preston thing. It starts over every new unit we go to! I had a blast with our unit ladies even though I sucked it up on the PLF. Sorry:) The col tried to catch me from falling, and I came up fast and hit him in the face with the back of my head. We had a really great, fun, exciting, interesting day!

Love, love, love the glammed up uniform! I did this same kind of thing when we were at Ft. Campbell. Ours was called Jane Wayne day. They gave us M16's with blanks in them, we put on camo paint stuff, I applied mine like it was cosmetics, you know brown blush etc. I was totally the girl version of Rambo that day!!!
