What am I leaving when i am done here.....
Well I was thinking the other day.....what do my kids think of me. I know strange question. The Joshs' our new family name for our awesome teachers....they had the kids last Saturday and they told me they were asking the boys....what do you think your mom will do while you guys are gone all day? The boys said oh she will be on the phone and the computer at the same time doing FRG stuff all day long! Absolutely what I do most of the time. I am still trying to figure out how to prioritize. I think it is slowing down a little bit since I am finally getting all the rosters and lists organized. Just when I think it is all under control....I get a phone call and there is a wife here in Anchorage, that I didn't even know existed! I have the soldier listed as SINGLE and living in the barracks. I have a BARRACKS ADDRESS for him. Anyways. I am going to have to STOP hanging out at walmart while I wait for the boys to get out of scouts. Hmmm got lots there tonight that I didn't really need....I guess we really wanted that new cool sled, and a couple pair of awesome waterproof amazing gloves, a beautiful morrocan candle holder I have been watching for a while now...not like it was expensive or anything, picked up a few pair of gloves for the little boys, a few pink pair for me and kleigh....some cute hair things for kleigh, hmmm....feet pjs for kleigh cause she loves them and looks so darn cute in them. Kleigh and I went to thrift store today and found some cute treasures. She got a hello kitty pillow that she hasn't put down since we brought it home. She got a cute wand that is puffy like a pillow?! I got an amazing dress for the ball. I was talking to Maggie, and I think I am going to dye it a deep purple. I might not even wear the actual dress. maybe I will wear a long black dress with 3/4 sleeves and then dye the wrap deep purple and wear it over the black dress. I definitely will have to cut off like 6 inches at the very least. I want it to cover the fact that I WILL BE WEARING MY SNOW BOOTS! Okay I am rambling now. I have to call Pres with some yuckiness about a soldier, and I am dreading it. :) Hope everyone is keeping warm! Britton....I mean Dawn :) comes home tomorrow! Yeah!!!

Hey girl did you get dress at the thrift store???? Cause 2 days ago we went and I did ;) I'll email you a pick right now. Also there is a "single" soldier in darren's unit too. His wife lives here and has for like 2 yrs??? Very crazy! Anyways we saw the little wand Kodi liked it but we found a Disney Princess horse and carriage she liked better, it is SO cute! Anyways enough from me! I do know where the thrift store is on EAFB. It is only open MWF 10-2 I think but maybe monday if the boys aren't back we should go.....
Dang it! I totally forgot about going to Costco to get those sleds for you! I'm soo sorry! I'm an airhead most days. Do you wanna try for this Monday? I'll write it in my book this time! I'm sorry again!
wish i had your organizing skills. i need to organize our dress making business stuff. just opened up a checking account and registered with the county as Merriweather & Co. dba (doing business as). Even got checks with our name on it! We placed 15 dresses in a shop in Fbg., 6 dresses in a shop in Austin, 3 in a shop named Chic Pettimore, and 10 in a shop in Westlake (tentatively). Awesome. Now we have to organize how we will proceed . . .
Fancy dresses are fun. Have you dyed anything before? I did some tiedye this summer and it didn't turn out so good. I would recommend letting it soad forever to get a really good color. You can always rinse it and check it and the re-dye it. The only problem is by leaving it to sit it may not be very even. I tried dying a dress of mine and it washed out quite a bit. I'd love to see it.
What's FRG?
FRG is family readiness group. :) It is basically like relief society. We set it up just like relief society. Calling trees, visiting, compassionate service teams, it is an army thing I guess? I haven't ever dyed anything but jeans. I redye my jeans when they start to fade. It is great because they look brand new again! :) saves $$$ I will take a pic of the dress and post it :)
Can't wait to see the dress...oh man, what am I going to wear! Walmart--just say no. Wasn't it awesome to talk to your man after a whole week? I sure missed talking to mine!
I still love that you get to say stuff like...I might wear such and such to the BALL! Who gets to go to balls?
