Kleigh Mae flew home with her mom last night. I was so sad. I tried not to cry in front of Kleigh, but I cried all the way home. Everyone that talked to me at church today, got tears.
Everything happens for a reason..........
..................................to everything there is a season. :)
All the boys cried last night when she was saying goodbye to them. Even Travis (our toughy). We miss you already Kleigh Mae! Love u......sweet dreams :)

Katy, I had no idea...I'm sorry. I wish I were staying, and when you come to AZ you better call me. When Ryan originally got the paperwork all filled out to become a warrant officer (prior to failing miserably on his eye sight :) one of the questions was specifically about finances and foreclosures/bankruptcy. So, that's what we have been going by. Hopefully my friend will be flying up here to drive back with me. We've got a little while to figure things out (I hope so anyway). Thanks for everything you've helped us with, let me know if I can do anything for you. Love ya!
I am sorry about that. My dad said stuff was up and she would most likely go home. I hope in the future that will change...you guys are awesome!! Chin up! :)
a reason and a season... I hope the best for you both :)
Oh I'm so sorry! At least she will have the wonderful memories of living up her with a family that loves her.
you know what. . . you have a place in her heart and she will never forget the feelings she had while she lived in your christ-centered home. she has her own little testimony growing because of the mcdonald family in kansas & then in alaska. now that's something to give someone that really matters.
Katy,
I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am to you and your family. With big hearts you opened your home to my niece. I know that what she needed most your family provided; stability, structure, love, learning, and FUN! (after all, KMae won't go anywhere that isn't fun...lol) She's grown a lot in 3 months (in many ways) and I just know you had a lot to do with it. From my family to yours, Thank You.

I'm so sad for you! Wish I could be there to give you a big giant HUG. Do cyber HUGS count?
So sad! Kleigh was definitely a fab little gal to have around. Loved to watch her show all the McDonald boys just what it meant to be a princess. Cuz every little girl's a princess and every boy should learn that at a young age. Call me...
