I loved this speech from the welcome home ceremony yesterday. It really truly hit home, and got me all teary eyed. I just keep looking at Preston thinking ......wow you really are home. :)
"No one will be able to give you back those missed birthdays, graduations, basketball and hockey games, and family dinners. The list of sacrifices is long and known but to you, but no one will be able to take from you the pride you feel in your heart for these soldiers, the sense of accomplishment you share, and the love that sustained you."
