Okay for real this time... I really do miss blogging!

So here we are in Fairbanks. We aren't "in love" with Fairbanks yet, but I am working on it...that counts for something. I have been addicted to Facebook for the past couple of years, but the bad thing is all my blogging stories and such were on there, and now our family blog has big holes in it. Oh well I will try to catch everyone up :) I absolutely love the people in Fairbanks. We ALWAYS have an amazing ward everywhere we go. Preston's job is a LOT more demanding then we thought, but everything happens for a reason. He travels a lot , and recently got to visit his family in Utah while away at a conference with the military, so it was completely paid for! Yeah :) It's been three years since I have left Alaska. I miss my family and Preston's family sooo much! I miss normal priced things. I miss not having to think about what the shipping would be on something. I have experienced -50 weather, which honestly isn't my favorite thing, but isn't as bad as you would think. I have some fabulous gloves that I paid way too much money for...but even the kids try to steal them because they are that amazingly warm! There is absolutely no shopping up here, and not much on craigs list, so my fascination with remaking furniture has been very slow. The upside to this is I have been trying to create my own version of vintage Bethany Lowe stuff. It's pretty fun just trying to create holiday decor. I could totally get into it. Everyone keeps telling me to blog about it, so I guess I need to get back to my blogging. PLUS my dear sweet Aunt Patsy refuses to facebook with me, but she did mention that she reads my blog so ....ur pretty amazing Aunt Patsy...I hope you know that. I sure had fun visiting with you and Uncle Pat. HUGS!! Well I may need some pushing every once in a while, but I miss just chatting it up on here. I hope I can keep it up this year :-)
