When we went to Maui, I had just gotten stomach surgery a few weeks earlier so I wasn't completely mobile still. I could not swim, or tread water, because you can't hold your legs up without your stomach muscles. I wanted to snorkel so bad, so dad swam, and held the back of my board shorts so I could float. We did this for a long time. I am sure he was exhausted. Well he found a huge turtle, so he pulled me over there and took my hand and tried to make me touch it. I wanted to, but I couldn't make myself. Finally I did, just barely though. Shortly after a big wave came, and Dad lost hold of my shorts and the wave took me. No big deal I thought I will just float on my back till I stop. It slammed me into the beach, and filled my entire swim suit and shorts so full of sand, that when I stood up I didn't want to get out because it looked like I had a huge gut hanging over my shorts (which was sand). It was hilarious. I had to get back in the water to get rid of the sand. Dad and Preston were totally laughing, after they found out I was alright. Ha Ha funny! Reminded me of that memory when Sarah asked where me and Dad were in this picture. Enjoy!

That is so funny. I have a strange, vague recollection of that sand business so I think you told me that story before, but I never would have remembered it. I hate how my memory does that! It loses stuff all the time.
I hope you're having a good day. Call me...
