Okay today was my 32nd birthday. I had a blast! First the kids didn't have school, so I got to sleep in! I woke up to a phone call from my sweetie, Preston singing happy birthday. Then he showed me my birthday present on the webcam. It is awesome! He had a man in Afghanistan burn our wedding picture into a piece of wood. There is even a frame burned around it. It is awesome! He said the man asked if he could keep the wallet size picture for another few weeks, so he could make another one to sell in his shop! He said that people kept trying to buy it, while he was working on it. How funny. I can't wait to see it. Then a few hours later me and Pres webcammed and instant messaged for three hours, and then for a few hours we talked on the phone and just watched each other on the webcam. I actually felt like I got to spend a lot of time with him today. It was great. Then my fun Kansas friends came over, and Derek's friends, and girl/friends too! They made me awesome brownies with candles, and made my favorite salsa! Sang happy birthday and then we watched part three of work and glory dvd! yeah it is new to all us "mission field" folk! I got all your messages today! Thank you so much! I love you all! I have the best friends and family a girl could ask for! I almost forgot. My boys brought me a brownie with a candle in it for breakfast. I told them they could tell their dad that they brought me breakfast in bed, well kind of, it was a brownie, and well they brought it to my computer, but ohh so sweet.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day. Too bad I am the bad sister and forgot to call you. But it's okay I got you a really cool present. I am calling it a combo btw. bday and mothers day. I will mail it to you this week. It is AWESOME. I am embarrassed to admit I got myself one too...we are gonna be twinners.

What a FUN, memorable day and what a sweet family you have!!! And how wonderful that you got to talk with Preston so much. I loved the imagery of you guys IM'ing and staring at each other on the computer. awh!
