It's official...deployment extended to 15 months
They announced it on the news today. All deployments are now 15 months, instead of the normal 12 months. I am going to play my denial card. I can add the three months on later down the road. It won't be so bad to add three months, when we only have a few months left. Right now it just puts me right back where I started!

Are you serious!!! Does that affect Preston for sure? Any chance he'll get to stick with his year? I'm so sorry :(
That's horrible. They don't just add it to the newly deployed groups? I would have thought they wouldn't change it once they were already out. Good luck with the denial card...whatever works, right?
Oh no, I'm so sorry! It doesn't seem fair for them to do that to you :( Maybe they won't change it for him, I'd stick with denial too.

it seems so contradictory to me that the army changes things all the time. it must seem forever to you. but you don't have any trouble keeping busy girl.
