Things I learned today.....

These scriptures may be old news to most of you, but when Pres is gone I have a lot more time to study my scriptures, and really search. Here are some of the new things I have learned:

***Christ will be wearing red robes when he comes back to the earth. (I always assumed white) Isaiah 63:1-3, D&C 133:48

***There will be an army of 144,000 high priests with Christ when he returns. It says they will have Father's name written in their foreheads. D&C133:17-18, Revelations 7:2-8, Revelations 14:1.

***If you make it to the celestial kingdom, you will be blessed to be able to continue your seed, (have more children) D&C 132:19-20

***The continents separated in the days of Noah's great great great grandson, Peleg. Genesis 9:18, 10:21-25

***The continents will be married again (moved together as one piece of land) Isaiah 62:4 D&C 133:23-24

If anyone hasn't read this vision of Heber Q Hale, it is really awesome. It is about an experience he had in the spirit world. I like to read about the spirit world, and think about what my family is doing. Preston's little brother Mike, Grandma Maxine & Grandpa Findlay, Mama, and my Dad.

I wanted to take the Doctrine & Covenants class at church, but it is at nights from 7-8pm. That would majorly disrupt my kids bedtime. Please share interesting scriptures that you have come across and things you have studied. I can't get enough of learning new things lately!

Thanks for sharing the scriptures and spiritual insights! My favorite year in seminary was the year we studied D&C. I just wanted to add that only those with the highest degree of glory in the celestial kingdom will be married and continue to have children but that is such an awesome blessing! I hope I get there!

Me and the kids are reading the Doctrine and Covenants this year. One section a night. It is awesome. I had never heard that before about being able to still have children. I love learning something new!

katy, don't you remember that we are here on earth to prove ourselves so that we can continue to progress in the next life - and we will be gods and goddesses - and have worlds of our own? it's a lot to think about. it is just a tiny moment that we are separated from our loved ones . . .

What have we been up to?
