Okay so last night we had a severe thunderstorm, and it took down one of the trees on our little circle, so the bus couldn't pick up the kids. It was one of those storms that shakes the entire house. I seriously still get scared of thunder as an adult! Well I was laying on my bed reading, and I saw Colten walk by. I didn't hear the bathroom door shut, so I wondered where he went. So I got up and he was in Jake and Travis' room on the floor. I asked him what he was doing, and he said I am looking for my shovel. I said Colten what are you doing....he said I am planting flowers. The kid freaks me out sometimes, he sleep walks and will totally have a conversation with you, eyes open and everything, and be totally asleep. Anyways! I talked to him for probably 15 minutes till I figured he wasn't going to wake up, so I sent him back to bed. (We planted flowers this week, and he must have still been thinking about it!)
** Okay Travis' turn. We had the van full of Derek and his friends, and Travis. Travis had this little motorized handheld fan. He absolutely adores Derek's friend Stacey. Stacey was sitting next to Travis. All of the sudden Stacey says, Gross I think I need to go home and take a shower! Travis had decided to put his tongue on the motorized fan, so it was shooting spit all over Stacey!

HA! just like you and ginger! i have so many stories of ya'll sleep walking.
Remember when Ginger came out of her room and we were all around talking with a bunch of friends and she thought something was wrong with her hand and was trying to tell us about it in Ginger-Gibber language. oh man! i am laughing just remembering it. And dont get me started on you either...you are for sure blessed with the gift of tongues...not any from this planet but still!
Oh man alive both of those made me laugh out loud. Especially that one with the spit. That is the best.

I love sleepwalking stories. They are just funny. And Travis wasn't even asleep...do you think he was doing that on purpose?
did you hear the story of my sleepwalking when i was about 9? aunt sharon and george were dating and sitting on the porch one evening - midnight i think. i walked out the door in my pjs and when asked where are ya going? - i said i am taking this book back (didn't have anything in my hand). walked the shortcut to my friend's house next door - knocked on the screen door - that woke me up. i saw my friend's brother sitting at the kitchen table in his whitey/tidies eating a bowl of cereal. embarassed - i said tell frannie i left her book here. and ran home and back to bed. funny huh.
