Okay seriously! My friend just went to test drive a new suburban, and was with the salesman when he filled up the tank. It cost $198.00 to fill that baby up! I am definitely sticking with my mini van as long as I can! I am supposed to be leaving for Texas next week, but am seriously re-thinking it! Gas even on post, (which is usually about 20 cents cheaper per gallon), is at $3.21. I can't even believe that. What are the prices where you guys are at! Post it!
P.S. Okay so my friend lives on the east coast, and is paying $4.00 per gallon. That is why it cost so much to fill it up, since it is a 52 gallon tank. sorry about that, but still!

DANG $198 for gas?! I would never leave the house. Last I checked it was $2.96 here for the cheap stuff. What kind of Minivan do you have? How many miles per gallon does it get?
Alright she's wrong. I have to defend my dear friend the Burb. I filled my tank completelt today for under $80. Maybe they get the expensive gas and her imagination added on the 1 before the 98 :)
yah...that sounded a little off. that would be like driving a BOMB around! CRAZY! Casey filled up my honda accord today and it was $50..OUCH!
To fill up my Magnum it's usually between $30 and $40. I'm pretty sure that there's this kid down here at the local Chevron in Bastrop that's offering half price gas for the few weeks that you'll be here, Katy. So don't be cancelling the trip. When I asked him why he was a little confused; something about his Dad saying he could this morning and dying a few months ago and then I stopped listening...
just stop eating. . . use that money to fill your gas tank and come to texas.
