I have a hard time understanding: I am going to have to copy Heather on this one. I have a hard time understanding ME. Preston once filled out one of these surveys about ME and it asked who was my worst enemy, and he put that I am my own worst enemy. Very interesting.
There's this girl I know that: is hurting right now, and if I could take away her broken heart I would. That is what friends do, right?!
If I could be anywhere in the world, i would be: for just a week, in a hotel room by myself, with no one knowing who I was, or needing anything from me, working out when I want, eating when I want, reading a book when I want, getting a massage, pedicure, highlights, do a little dancing, all the things that are so hard to get done when you are doing the single parenting thing!
The weirdest thing that happened to me today was: I again refused to go to the commissary(military grocery store). Even though we have been out of milk for three days. What! My babysitter is at scout camp this week. The kids are fine. They don't need milk. They have pancakes, and bacon, and eggs, and all sorts of stuff. Plus if they really want cereal they can put orange juice on it. Yes, I said orange juice! Fine I will stop by the gas station and get some milk! I am not taking three kids with me to the commissary!
The funniest thing that happened today was: I turned my webcam out the window so Preston could watch Travis climbing the tree just outside my window. While he was watching the entire limb broke off the tree and Travis fell to the ground. Then he jumped up and showed the limb to his dad. Travis was pretty proud of his limb.Pretty dang funny!
The sweetest thing that happened to me this week was: when I told Pres the boys were acting up, and he did a little webcam discipline with the boys. Told me to line them up in front of the webcam, and he told them that there were only two things that could really upset him severely, and that was disrespect his wife, and lie to him. He told them that he was too far away to show as much love as he wanted to for me, so the boys needed to help him out, and tell me once a day something they loved about me. I thought it was really sweet! Plus we have coined our own phrase and are thinking about writing a book about WEBCAM DISCIPLINE! totally kidding!

that was fun to read kate. sounds like you need a vacation. you need to go to mesa and hang out with your sisers. they all have babysitters . . . if you go . . . i'll be there! webcam discipline reminds me of a friend who use to have family prayer over the phone because her husband was a charter pilot and always gone. flexibility is the key to sanity.
That's so sweet. I love that he enlisted the boys to help you feel loved while he's far away. He's a good guy.
That is so cute- what Pres told your boys made me tear up!
