You know your kid is an army brat when.......

• He no longer refers to the term policeman, it is MP's (military police)
• When we get in the car he asks if we are going off post or not (off the base)
• He has removed the word grocery store from his vocabulary, it is the commissary
• When he talks to his dad on the phone, he says, aren't you done getting rid of all the bad guys yet so you can come home ?
• He can pronounce, as well as talks about Iraq, and Afghanistan often.
• When he plays with someone new he asks if their dad is home or not (is he deployed or not?)
• When Travis was younger, anyone in a uniform was daddy.
• One embarrassing moment, was when Travis told a female soldier, that girls were not real soldiers.
