EYE SURGERY....

So we have an awesome Optho department here in Kansas. We are scheduled for Jake to have eye surgery on this Thursday, and Derek the end of October after football season. Yes football season ends ridiculously early because of the severe weather. They are going to tighten the eye muscles on both boys. The doc said that both of them will only need their glasses for reading after the surgery. How awesome is that. It is going to be so weird to see them without their glasses again. After I get the boys done, then I can start on my eye surgery ! Since the Army is sending us to Alaska, they make you get all your medical stuff fixed before you go. They have you submit physicals on everyone going. It is crazy, so we will REALLY busy here for a while. I guess the Army doesn't want us getting to Alaska and then wanting the eye surgery, so they would have to pay a civilian doc to do it! I have to go call Primary Children's Hospital and find out the med that Derek had a reaction to, in his last surgery. Have a great day!
