This is the day we realized what we really signed up for. We were no longer signing up for the military, but for a military at war, which is a much different story. I never get to watch Oprah, but today I watched and saw the kids who lost parents and the strength that it has given them. The way 9/11 has shaped their young lives, and made them who they are today. Everything happens for a reason, even though we may not ever know what that reason is in this lifetime. But through your trials you will be more near to God then at any other time in your life. When I think about it like that, I can't help but be thankful for my trials. I read something recently that says:
Cherish your spiritual burdens because God will
converse with you through them.
