We were eating pizza the other day, and the little girl I babysit asked Derek to please pass the white ketchup (ranch dressing). So we have decided in our little family that we will forever more refer to ranch dressing, as white ketchup because we liked it so much! And she also calls mustard yellow ketchup.
Another thing that brought a smile to my face...Sometimes when I am tired and just plain out of energy. I send Travis upstairs to shower and assign one of the older boys to supervise. Tonight as they were completing this task of supervising Travis, Jake and Colten were singing to Travis in the tub. They were singing what I have always sung to the boys since they were little. It was just funny to hear that they still remember it and sung it to their little brother! "Rub a dub dub, fat boy in the tub!" Well it was made for Derek because as I am sure my sisters remember, he was very fat when he was little. Probably because Preston and I were young parents, and every single time he made a whimper or cry we thought he must be hungry. So basically the kid ate non-stop. Pretty dang funny! I will have to find a baby pic of him to post with this. Seriously Michelin tire man we are talking here! And yes Derek had rolls on his legs just like the man in the picture!
