Scripture study funnies...

Okay so we were reading Mosiah chapter 13. We were explaining the commandments. I explained what coveting was... wanting something of your neighbors. Once I read the part about coveting your neighbor's _ _ _ (aka donkey)...to say the least they could not contain themselves! Travis is still telling it almost like it is a joke, and then giggling uncontrollably. The funny part is that he isn't telling it to anyone most of the time, he is just reminding himself how hilarious he thinks it is. So he also thinks the word donkey is hilarious. He is a lot like me in the fact that once he thinks a word, or a phrase is funny. He cannot contain the laughter. There are certain commercials that I find hysterically funny, while Pres just sits and stares at me without even a smile! Anyways. The other part of the story I wanted to say is that the seminary teacher is the bishop's wife. She is awesome. She fills in for me when I go out of town, in my Sunday school class at church. Anyways her son Perry hangs out with Derek. The other day Perry was arguing with her and she said, "Perry what is the fifth commandment?" He repeated "Honor thy Father and Mother." She then said "and what is the promised blessing for keeping this commandment?" He said "that thy days may be long upon the land." I love that! I am totally using that from now on!
