I can't remember, and no it wasn't ME that hit my head....

Okay so I always joke and say I have an automatic starter on my van. His name is DEREK! Well last week I sent him out to start the car, and the steps just looked wet, not icy. He slipped on the first step and hit his head three different times on the way down, and then landed on the concrete tray thing. We have about 10 steep steps off the back porch. My neighbor watched it happen, and yelled at her husband to go out there. I got out there, and brought my girlfriend and we couldn't pick him up. He couldn't walk on his leg. We thought it was broken for sure, right above the knee! So the only male left in the neighborhood came out and scraped and salted the stairs, and then carried Derek inside. He is awesome! He told me to take Derek to the Emergency Room. Derek said mom lets just wait a while and see how I do. He was really sore, but was fine. Scared the crap out of me! So I am a big fan of salt on the stairs now, if only I could buy some in my town IT WOULD BE GREAT! It might be faster to just order it online! Anyways. Derek is fine and is a lot more careful going out to start my car! I also have an automatic dishwasher unloader, named Derek/Colten. That is one of my other favorite things! :)
