We found this desk, and my son had been bugging me for a desk. I liked the detail on the front of the drawers. I was worried because one of the drawers was missing it's hardware, but later found it taped in the back of one of the drawers! The desk was only $19.99. I had to pull off the top laminate. That took FOREVER! I sanded it, and painted it black then spray painted the hardware silver to match the armoire below. The cool thing is that I have furnished Derek's room with furniture for UNDER $100. I bought a beautiful solid wood Thomasville headboard on craigslist for $25. I got the armoire below for $37. His desk was $19.99 . His turquoise nightstand was FREE! How awesome is that?! Funny I just realized Colten's room was furnished for under $100 as well. I got all his set of furniture for $100, and I got his bed for free from a friend, well actually we traded but that counts! :)
